PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is the modern lubricant for modern farm and industrial equipment. Engineered specifically to meet the tough applications of heavy-duty, hydraulic-powered operations, AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil exceeds the performance requirements of virtually every piece of modern machinery. With its unique blend of synthetic base stocks and advanced additive package, AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil provides exceptional lubrication to reduce wear, resist heat, protect against rust and extend fluid and equipment service life.

Remains Stable at Temperature Extremes

AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil operates over a wide range of temperatures. AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil has a low volatility and high viscosity index to maintain its lubricity at high operating temperatures, and it flows at temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C) for improved equipment operation and wear protection.

Provides Controlled Seal Swell

AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil contains seal swell agents to maintain sealing integrity. It provides a slight seal swell to maintain a secure, tight fit.

Inhibits Rust and Corrosion

AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil contains special rust and corrosion inhibitors to protect tractor components against rust and corrosion.

Inhibits Foaming

AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil inhibits foaming. Foaming reduces hydraulic oil pressure and diminishes the lubricating protection provided by the oil. AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil continues to resist foaming even when the reservoir level is low.

Suppresses Wet Brake Chatter

AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil has friction modifier additives that effectively suppress wet brake chatter. When the friction modifier additives are depleted in a conventional hydraulic/transmission oil, an imbalance of pressure occurs in the tractor's brake system and vibrating in the tractor can become uncontrollable. AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil remains serviceable for up to three times longer than do conventional oils, and its friction additives remain intact for smooth, continuous tractor operation.

INSTALLATION

AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is fully compatible with conventional hydraulic/transmission oils. To install AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil in a hydraulic system, drain the existing hydraulic/transmission oil, change filters and install AMSOIL Hydraulic/Transmission Oil.
